Website terms of use
Prices on this site are starting prices. Your final price is confirmed before any work starts, and written quotes are valid for 30 days. The information on this site is general, not legal or insurance advice. These terms are governed by California law.
Effective date: November 1, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the The Windshield Co. website. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Your service appointment itself is covered by the quote, invoice and warranty you receive for that job.
How do posted prices work?
Prices on this website are starting prices. They apply to common vehicles with standard glass. Your final price depends on your vehicle, the glass features it needs, and the work required. We confirm the final price with you before any work starts, and we don't change it without your approval.
Posted prices may change over time. The date of the last update is shown on our pricing page. The price you're quoted is the one that applies to your job, as long as you book within the quote period.
How long is a quote valid?
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date we send them. After that, glass prices and availability may change, and we will requote if needed.
A quote is based on the information you give us. If the vehicle, damage or glass features turn out to be different from what was described, for example a camera or heads-up display that wasn't mentioned, we'll tell you the new price before we continue.
Appointments, weather and rescheduling
We do all of our work at your location, so some conditions are outside our control. We may need to reschedule for:
- Rain, since we don't install glass in active rain without cover
- High wind, dust or cold that affects safe installation or adhesive curing
- Parts that arrive late or damaged from the supplier
- A vehicle or work area that isn't accessible at the appointment time
If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as early as we can and offer the next available time. If you need to reschedule, please call or text us as early as possible. Read more about mobile service.
Is the information on this site advice?
No. Our guides, blog and other pages offer general information about auto glass, vehicle safety systems, insurance and California law. It is not legal advice, insurance advice or a statement about your specific policy. Laws and policies change, and every policy is different. For questions about your coverage, contact your insurer or agent. For legal questions, talk to a licensed attorney.
Quote requests and text messages
When you submit a quote request, you agree to give accurate information and that we may contact you about it by email or phone. If you text us, you can reply STOP to stop texts at any time. How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.
