Our auto glass warranty
Every installation comes with our lifetime workmanship warranty against leaks and wind noise for as long as you own the vehicle. If your new glass leaks, whistles, or has a loose molding caused by our work, we come back and fix it at no cost. New rock chips and cracks from road damage are not covered.
What does the warranty cover?
It covers problems caused by how we installed your glass. If the installation is the cause, we fix it at no charge, including the labor and mobile visit.
- Water leaks around the edge of a windshield, back glass or side window we installed
- Wind noise or whistling from the glass or moldings at highway speed
- Molding and trim problems from the install, such as a molding that lifts, gaps or comes loose
- Other installation defects, such as a poor seal or glass that sits unevenly in the frame
Coverage applies to windshield replacement, side window replacement and back glass replacement that we perform.
What isn't covered?
The warranty covers our workmanship, not new damage to the glass.
- New rock chips or cracks from road debris after the install. Those are new damage, and we can repair or replace them at our posted prices.
- Damage from accidents, vandalism, break-ins, or falling objects.
- Damage from outside work on the glass or nearby body panels by someone else after our install.
- Defects in the glass itself, such as distortion or a flaw in the layers. These fall under the glass manufacturer's warranty. If you see one, tell us, and we'll help you make that claim with the manufacturer.
Does the warranty cover chip repairs?
A rock chip repair stops a chip from spreading and improves how it looks, but it may leave a faint mark. Chip repair is not covered by the installation warranty above. If a chip we repaired spreads, contact us and we'll look at it with you.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Call or text us. Most claims are handled in one visit.
- Call or text (951) 364-2300 with your name and a short description of the problem. A photo or short video helps, especially for leaks.
- We set a time to come back to you, at your home or work, the same way we did the original job.
- We inspect the glass, find the cause and fix it. If the problem turns out to be something the warranty doesn't cover, we tell you before doing any paid work.
Keep your invoice. It shows the date, vehicle and work done, which makes any claim faster.
What can I do to protect a new install?
Follow the care steps we give you on the day of the install. Wait the safe drive-away time before driving, leave the retention tape on until the next day, and skip the car wash for at least 24 hours. Our after-replacement care guide has the full list.
What if I sell my car?
Coverage lasts for as long as you own the vehicle. It covers you as the owner and does not pass to a new owner if you sell the car.
Questions we hear a lot
How long does your auto glass warranty last?
Our warranty is a lifetime workmanship warranty against leaks and wind noise for as long as you own the vehicle. It covers leaks, wind noise and installation defects from our work.
Does the warranty cover a new crack in my replacement windshield?
No. A new crack or chip from road debris is new damage, not an installation problem. We can repair or replace it at our posted prices, or through your insurance.
What if my new windshield has a defect in the glass?
Glass defects such as distortion are covered by the glass manufacturer's warranty. Tell us what you see and we will help you file the claim with the manufacturer.
Do I pay anything for a warranty repair?
No. If the problem comes from our installation, the fix, the parts and the mobile visit are free. We tell you before any paid work if the cause is something else.
